Why I Use Heroshark

Heroshark was recommended to me when I wanted to optimise my camouflage. They are a one-man band who create eye/face protection with mesh. Throughout the years, they’ve been expanding their range of products and I’ve had the pleasure of using a few of them!

I began by ordering the Viper glasses. First thing I noticed was the fab quality and how comfortable they were on my face. However, for me personally, I found them a bit small for my face. So I found the Mako glasses. These had a much thicker frame and I felt they sealed my eyes a lot better for me. Again the quality was faultless and Heroshark even went the extra mile and sprayed them camouflage for me. They were super comfortable to wear and filled me with confidence to wear on the playing field. 

Since wearing these, I’ve come across numerous situations where I’ve been shot in the eye. Each time the mesh has held up and protected me causing no cracks or issues. If the frames begin to get some wear and tear, frames are available to replace these! This guy seems to have thought of everything. 


I’ve been in a few situations where I’ve been tempted to buy other eye pro for one reason or another but been put off with them not being mesh or as comfortable as the Heroshark Mako I already have. I found some AimCam Eye Pro which I was persuaded to buy due to them having a small recording camera (which I’ll cover in another blog). My biggest worry was them not being camouflaged enough and would give away my position. So I decided to contact Heroshark.




He was more than up to the challenge! For a very reasonable charge, he agreed to insert mesh into the frames. This involved me sending out the AimCam glasses to him with the lenses already available and in a very quick turnaround (less than 2 weeks), I got them back! He was more than accommodating to what I needed and asked me if I wanted the mesh inserts to be permanent or be interchangeable but explained the process for each option. In addition to this, he painted them to add to the camouflage I needed! Since having them back, I’ve not come across any issues with Herosharks work. They look amazing and I know that my eyes are safe with the mesh he uses. 


I hands down recommend Heroshark for all mesh needs! He’s always up for a challenge and wants to make sure he gets the product right for his customers!
