4. Plantation - Plantation I always look forward to attending. Always end up having a good laugh there and I met some amazing friends. The site is clearly set out and again has a wide variety of terrain for players. In the day, the whole site is used and optimised which caters for all types of players. Staff are good at player watching throughout the games and do their best to help where they can. They also have a lush burger van! I tend to go back there as I know what sort of day I’m in for. They go above to ensure each player has a good experience on the day.
3. Dragons Lair - Dragons Lair is another site that I attend quite regularly. Again from day one, marshals have been super friendly and very accommodating. I find that although the site isn’t the biggest, it tends to have great play and good sportsmanship. It’s quite woodland dominated with the terrain but they’ve recently added a CQB building which draws appeal to other players too. Players are always very up for a laugh at this site and make the day enjoyable.
2. Humber - Humber is definitely on my top 5. Although I’ve only managed to visit once (so far), I came away from that site with a massive smile on my face and eager to go back. With it being an unused quarry, the view is amazing and like no other. Staff were all friendly and more than accommodating. They ran the games very strictly which meant objectives were clear and there was no confusion. The skirmish also consisted of play around different areas of the site where the terrain varied quite a bit. I had a great day for meeting new people and putting my airsoft ghillie skills to the test.
1. NML - No Mans Land is number one for me. I’ve attended once so far (next day is being planned) and it was a weekend I couldn’t fault. Marshals were super friendly and more than willing to assist with any queries I came across. There has been a lot of time and effort put into the site and even more so since my last visit! It seems to constantly be adapting to becoming better and they listen/ask what the players want to see from the site. No job seems too big to complete. They carry out objectives which targets all types of players including a game to involve those ghillie snipers which needed to be hunt down. The facilities are all there for what is needed for both a skirmish and camping. Players all seemed to be enjoying themselves as well as the marshals. I straight away knew this was a site I wanted to attend again!
