ASG MK23

A great pistol to have as a sniper sidearm is the MK23. I personally own the ASG but you can also get the TM which is just slightly better quality parts.

In my own MK23, I have upgraded it with a EdGi inner barrel, Maple Lead 70 degree bucking and dual Hadron TDC. I also use it with the Silverback MK23 suppressor. This can hit ranges around 60-70m and is super quiet as it's not gas blowback.

There are a few different holsters you can use with this and I have the DTD quick release holster. I find this gives me quick and easy access when needed.

A couple of downsides to this pistol is that it's quite bulky to carry around but this isn't an issue if you don't mind. Also, the mags have a reputation of leaking. This is quite frustrating and is the main issue I have come across.

With all this considered, I'd give this product a 6/10.

AEP Glock

This was my first ever pistol and it's never failed me. It's probably the most reliable RIF I've owned. It's small and compact so it's easy to attach it to your loadout. The mags are small and therefore, don't take up a lot of room to store in your rig. If the mags don't hold enough ammo for you, there are 100rd mags available also. With the mags being so small, if they do get lost, they're cheap and easy to get hold of.

The battery fits nicely in the top and is quick and easy to charge up. To change the battery is simple so I tend to carry two around with me however, the battery life is great as I've never had one die on me during a game day.

The glock gives you the option of single fire or full auto which makes it even more fun to use especially wearing a ghillie.

The quality of the product is strong and sturdy as mine has been dropped and bashed about a few times but still works perfectly. Range wise, it hits around 20-35m and can be upgraded to hit further if you wish.

I'd give this product a 10/10 as it's never let me down.

G&G Piranha

This is my first ever GBB pistol. I had never been too keen on the idea and how much recoil a GBB gives. I was worried about lack of accuracy when using it on the field.

Luckily, I went to the Only Airsoft store in Snetterton and was able to try out this pistol before purchase. I immediately fell in love with the split slide. It reduces the amount of recoil just enough for my liking and yet is still effective. I found it fits really nicely in my hand whilst using it.

It came with a hard case which included a BB speed loader and a keyring with a bullet which was actually the hop-up key for the pistol.

However, with the hop-up key being so specific, if this is lost, the adjustment becomes a little more fiddly.

I'll give this product a 7/10.
